Fundata is a village near Bran. It is located at the border between 2 counties, Brasov (where Bran and Fundata belong to) and Arges. To get there from Bran you either need to have a car or take the morning bus.
A friend and I chose the second option, for which we had to wake up early in the morning. We took the bus right at sunrise and after one hour we got there. The weather was wonderful, it was summer so all conditions were met for a perfect day and an unforgettable trip.

First we walked through the village. We took a break to visit some relatives of my friend, after which we started climbing the hills until we got to the weather station. Meanwhile the clouds got dark so we had to hurry on the way back. We went downwards returning to the point where we came by bus. Finally we got back to Bran.
I will now let the pictures reveal the details of our trip (a map showing our “steps” is also included).
