Winter in Alba Iulia (2)

After coming back from the Mammoth I decided to take a walk on the hill where the old city fortifications are standing. It was already evening and the it got very cold outside. To make things worse the wind started to blow, which made me feel like I was at the North Pole.

Winter in Alba Iulia (1)

I took these pictures in Alba Iulia at the end of last year. It was the first day when it snowed in Alba Iulia, just before St. Nicholas. On such a weather many people would prefer to stay in the house for a cup of hot tea, however I decided to take a walk on the hills near the city, which the locals call “The Mammoth” because of their mammoth-like shape. And I didn’t get disappointed!
