Droplets (2)

In a previous post I mentioned how important is to take you camera with you no matter how the weather is: https://callofnatureblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/22/droplets-reloaded/

Well, one day while I was in the mountains I decided to push things even further and went on a walk while it still rained. I didn’t want to wait for the rain to stop (in the mountains it can last for hours or even days), but decided instead to take photos with one of my favorite subjects: flowers & droplets. I found the results pretty amazing and thought it would be a good idea to share them with you.

Droplets and Flash

Here some more pictures with droplets. This time I used an on-camera flash (with a collapsible diffuser) as the available light was pretty poor. Another solution would have been to use the tripod without flash, however I wanted to test the effect of flashlight on droplets. I find the results pretty amazing but I’m sure there is always room for better. I’ll keep you posted on my future “experiments”.

Enjoy! Any feedback is highly appreciated.
