Droplets (2)

In a previous post I mentioned how important is to take you camera with you no matter how the weather is: https://callofnatureblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/22/droplets-reloaded/

Well, one day while I was in the mountains I decided to push things even further and went on a walk while it still rained. I didn’t want to wait for the rain to stop (in the mountains it can last for hours or even days), but decided instead to take photos with one of my favorite subjects: flowers & droplets. I found the results pretty amazing and thought it would be a good idea to share them with you.

One mention though: my camera is weather sealed and so is my macro lens (it’s in fact the only lens with weather sealing I have and it’s built like a tank). If your camera-lens combination is not weather sealed, I would advise you wait until the rain is over, especially if it rains heavily. And please ensure you have a good bag with you that would protect the gear from moisture!

Until then, enjoy the pictures!
