Snails

Snails are another fascinating sub-genre of the macro/close-up photography. There is a high amount of species and although many of them are much bigger than insects (so it’s more closeup than macro), it is still worth capturing them on the sensor. Here some pictures I took last spring after accidentally “meeting” a few of these creatures near my house.

TIP: if you want to capture snails you should either wake up early in the morning (when there is a lot of dew outside) or take your camera right after the rain stops. If you have a lot of grass near your home you should find lots of them!

Now let’s explore this tiny world!

Thanks for your comment. I usually don’t write too much in my posts but instead let the pictures “talk”. However if you have any questions/comments please feel free to point them to me and I will gladly answer.

    Have a nice day!
